What a week it has been! The series finale of Falcon and the Winter Soldier as well as the release of the new Mortal Kombat movie managed to share the same week. In this episode we try to squeeze both of these monster topics and sprinkle a little DCU vs MCU talk. Let us start with Mortal Kombat.

With the re-release of this 1995 monster hit and the 1996 box office bomb of a sequel, Mortal Kombat comes out the gate with high expectations. The movie showcased popular characters like Sub-zero and Scorpion with the tournament on the way. The big question is, did it deliver? Was the juice worth the squeeze? We take apart the movie and put it back together. Was it a hit with the podcast? Did it bring us back to 1995 and revitalize our youth? We tell it like it is.

Shifting gears to the finale of Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

What can we say? Did it beat out the expectations? What about surprises? Was there anything that it missed? But the biggest question, was it better than WandaVision? The podcast was very vocal about this one. Don’t miss this one.

Now let’s switch gears. With DCU and the MCU growing in size, the age old question comes to light. Who does it better when it comes to movies and tv shows, DC or Marvel?

This fun conversation gets intense fast as we dig deep to compare the two. Who has a better show? Who makes better movies? Who is going to have the last laugh? The chat room really gets into this topic as we bounce around to gather all the answers.

Episode 300 is right around the corner and we want you to be apart of history. Start by joining us every Tuesday at 9pm on Facebook!

I'm your typical every day person. That's far from the truth. As you may have heard from our podcasts, I am fan of many things sci-fi. I love video games and pretty much play everything. I also love amine. I am trying to grow my knowledge of anine so I always welcome recommendations. I speak 2 sometimes 3 languages depending on the time of day and I walk on water. .. at least I like to believe so.
