So we are back with another Sci-fi packed episode, but this isn’t your regular episode. Why is that you ask? Check out the new intro, new outro and lots of new surprises throughout the episode. This episode will give you the new definition of nerds. Lets get it started!
We start out the gates with a new Netflix documentary about video games called High Score.
Who wouldn’t like a series about the history of video games? This one starts at Space Invaders, goes through the NES period, the 16 bit war and beyond. We discuss the nostalgia and what we felt watching this series. To be able to be apart of some of the history of gaming is something you need to hear. Listen as Moose showcases his age alongside Mike. Also see if Gamegod is really the god of games.
Also in this episode, we cover a convention. Not your traditional convention. It’s called DC Fandome.
The 24 hour, premiere event showcasing upcoming DC projects, movies, and WB games. Also some of the actors and actresses sat in panels (in a zoom meeting format), discussed movies and played games. Some of the big things covered:
The Batman. The first teaser trailer was released at the event and showcased some of the characters including the Riddler, Catwoman and even the Penguin. We go into some depth with this one. You need to hear some of our thoughts on this one.
Then there was Suicide Squad, the movie and the game.
Which one was better? Did they hit the mark or was it all hype? There was also trailers released for both movie and game. Maybe Suicide Squad isn’t for you and you prefer something like Wonder Woman 1984 (WW84).
Believe it or not, this was the one we did not see eye to eye. Is this supposed to be DC’s home run? Are we expecting too much or is it right where it needs to be?
But wait there’s more! What is it you ask? You need to tune in and see for yourself. Better yet, join us every Tuesday at 9pm on Facebook to be a part of the action.
