This week is E3. This is where we see some of the hottest and coolest games, consider by many as the first round of what is to be expected for the holiday shopping season and beyond.

I can tell you this, there wasn’t a lack of excitement. We saw everything from Destiny to Halo 5.

They announced a Halo Master Chief collection.

They showed games like Dragon Age Inquisition and Assassin’s Creed Unity, sequels everyone want to play. New games breaking new ground like Sunset Overdrive (click for gameplay), an exclusive to Microsoft and the revising of cult classics like Phantom Dust which originally came out for the original Xbox (lots of originals). All this news plus lots more was more than enough to quench any gamers needs but there was more.

A couple of months ago I spoke of a game called The Division. The game is based on a disease that spreads on Black Friday and causes the United States to collapse. The story demonstrates how fragile we have become as a society. The player is part of a group called the “Strategic Homeland Division (SHD)”, or “The Division” for short. This group was established to combat the threat brought about by the outbreak and are given direct authority by the President of the United States to do whatever it takes to “save what remains” in a massive multiplayer online situation, putting them against AI, as well as other players in the game.

Sounds scary, huh?

Here is some actually gameplay shown at this year’s E3.

The game was pushed back until 2015 but the way this looks I can wait for perfection.  Also did I mention Xbox One is the lead platform for this game.

The Division is one of many awesome games coming out for the Xbox one and I will be there to experience it.

I'm your typical every day person. That's far from the truth. As you may have heard from our podcasts, I am fan of many things sci-fi. I love video games and pretty much play everything. I also love amine. I am trying to grow my knowledge of anine so I always welcome recommendations. I speak 2 sometimes 3 languages depending on the time of day and I walk on water. .. at least I like to believe so.
